Firefighters Battle Brush Fire In Rocky Hill
The fire department issued an alert on Tuesday afternoon.
ROCKY HILL, CT — Firefighters worked to extinguish a brush fire Tuesday afternoon.
The brush fire prompted officials to temporarily close some local roads. Officials announced the closures in the area of Elm Street between Cromwell Avenue and Gilbert Avenue via a Facebook post around 2:30 p.m.
As of 3 p.m., the roads had been reopened. There are power outages in the area also, officials said.
