Rocky Hill Congregational Church Plans for 300th Birthday
Congregation Working to Fund Needed Repairs

The stately Rocky Hill Congregational Church in the center of town will be celebrating its 300th birthday in 2027. As with any aging structure, updates and repairs are needed. A $750.000 capital fundraising campaign is underway to make needed repairs to the historic meeting house.
The congregation has embarked on the “Vision Fund 300” capital campaign to raise funds for the work. The actual fund drive runs through mid October. With a three year timeline for completing the work, it is hoped that the church’s three hundredth birthday can be celebrated in an updated, renovated church.
Upgrades and repairs include installing air conditioning in the sanctuary, new windows, repairs to the parapets surrounding the steeple, roof-top solar, interior painting, upgrading the youth room, etc.
