ROCKY HILL — One steakhouse chain will likely get replaced by another in a busy Rocky Hill commercial area.

Rocky Hill Town Planner Kim Ricci said Thursday that the local regulatory process is moving along in the efforts of the RARE Hospitality International subsidiary of Darden Restaurants Inc., to open a LongHorn Steakhouse at 1489 Silas Deane Highway, the former site of a Dakota Steakhouse.

A liquor permit has already been approved and a continuation of a sire plan review is on tap for July 20, she said.
