James A. Crovo, 89, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband of the late June (Fyvie) Crovo, passed away peacefully Friday, November 27, 2015.
Born in Hartford on June 8, 1926, James was the son of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Everett) Crovo.

James attended Hartford schools and proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked for The Good Humor Company for 30 years, in addition he worked for Arthur’s Drug and The Yellow Cab Company. James was a devoted husband and father.
He leaves behind his daughters Sharon Clematito and her husband Joe of Wethersfield and Susan Crovo of Hartford. His grandson James A. Rival and his wife Jessica of Manchester and his great-grandson Aedan Rival. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for James will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd at 10:00 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will immediately follow at The State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
