In Memoriam: Ralph Stage Rarey
The Rocky Hill resident passed away Feb. 26 at the age of 91.

Ralph Stage Rarey, 91, resident of Rocky Hill, died peacefully, in his sleep, Friday, February 26, 2016.
He was born March 7, 1924 in West Hartford, son of Charles Donald Rarey and Helen Huntington Staples.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Rarey, his five children, three step-children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who love him.
A graduate of Kingswood-Oxford School and Trinity College; he was a four-star battle veteran of World War II. He was the co-founder of the Rare Reminder and a valued member of the community for many years. His intelligence, creativity, sense of wonder and playfulness inspired us all.
Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday, March 5 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Service and burial immediately to follow.
