Multi-Vehicle Crash Cleared On I-91 In Rocky Hill: UPDATE

ROCKY HILL, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 91 caused major traffic problems for Friday afternoon commuters, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the three-vehicle accident was on I-91 North between exits 23 and 24, resulting in the closure of three left lanes and a nearly 5-mile traffic backup in that area.

The crash was first reported at 3:45 p.m. and it is now not listed on the DOT's incident report.
