• Connecticut Business Owner Charged with Failure to Provide Workers' Compensation Insurance Coverage (ct.gov) — Rocky Hill gets a mention in a statewide workers’ compensation fraud case, as local police assisted state inspectors in arresting a Haddam construction business owner accused of operating without required coverage. Prosecutors say an employee’s serious 2021 worksite injury left the state paying over $85,000 in benefits, and the case is now headed to Middletown Superior Court in January.
