Fog seal is a preservation method used to rejuvenate newer pavement surfaces which helps to keep roads in good condition to prevent or at least delay the need for more costly repair methods in the future. Each roadway will be closed for a period of time with detours in place to reroute traffic.
Roads will be swept prior to application of the sealant, so please do not park in the work zone. Roads will be reopened once the fog seal has dried (typically within 1 hour).
Please contact the Town of Wethersfield Engineering Department at engineeringinspections@wethersfieldct.gov or 860-721-2850 if you have any questions."
