Rocky Hill Girl Scouts Kick Off Recruitment Season

Girl Scouts are recruiting at the Thursday night summer concerts and an upcoming statewide event.

Junior Troop 10230 kicked off the fall recruitment season for the Rocky Hill Girl Scout Service Unit by setting up a recruiting booth at one of the summer concerts being held at Elm Ridge Park on Thursday nights.

Interested girls and their families learned how they can better serve their community at the booth, while playing a game the troop designed during their badge work this past year.

Information was also distributed on the Service Unit’s new digital resources on Facebook and Twitter (@gsofrh), which contain information about how to become involved with Rocky Hill Girl Scouts as well as reminders about important events on the Rocky Hill Girl Scouts Service Unit calendar.

If you missed the chance to stop by the booth and sign up for more information about joining or volunteering, email gsofrh@gmail.com to be connected with a troop or learn about how to become a volunteer.

Also, be on the lookout for additional registration information coming this September, both during open house at the public schools and a statewide recruitment event being held on Sept. 10.
