Rocky Hill Man Crashes in New Milford

The 23-year-old was taken to Danbury Hospital after the incident, which also involved a New York State Trooper.

A 23-year-old Rocky Hill man was involved in a crash on July 4 that trapped him - and a New York State Trooper, reports the News-Times.

The trooper was chasing an evading speeder, William Lester, when Lester crashed into a guard rail at the intersection of Route 55 and Kent Road in New Milford, continued without stopping, and crashed again into a utility pole.

The crash brought down the pole and live wires onto Lester and the trooper’s vehicles,

Lester was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was treated and released.
