ROCKY HILL, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $30,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Rocky Hill resident won $30,000 on a 30X Cash 10th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Teddy’s Stores at 1100 E Main St. in Meriden, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
