Serious Crash Involving Motorcycle Shuts Down Rocky Hill Roadway: PD

ROCKY HILL, CT — A serious motor vehicle accident in Rocky Hill involving a vehicle and a motorcycle has prompted the closure of a busy stretch of roadway.

According to the Rocky Hill Police Department, the accident was on Cromwell Avenue at Cold Spring Road.

The RHPD posted an alert of the situation at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team has been notified and will be investigating.

As a result of the "seriousness of the collision," Cromwell Avenue between Brook Street adn DiPietro Drive is expected to be closed "for a few hours."
