Tractor Trailer/Multi-Vehicle Crash In Rocky Hill Cleared: UPDATE
The accident has resulted in the closure of a lane on the highway and a massive traffic backup.
ROCKY HILL, CT — A serious crash involving a tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles on Interstate 91 caused some traffic issues for motorists Thursday morning, but it is now cleared up.
According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident was on I-91 North between exits 22 and 23.
As a result, the right lane was closed.

According to the DOT, the wreck had caused a 1.8-mile traffic backup on I-91.
The crash was first reported at 8:56 a.m., but it is now no longer on the DOT's incident list.
