Approved 2011-2012 Academic Year Calendar

After some mild debate as to how to most efficiently alter the academic calendar year at last month's meeting, a final decision has been made. It includes some minor changes in regards to February and April vacations, as well as leaves some wiggle room, should the school system have to deal with what they've fondly been referring to this winter season as "Snowpocalypse." This winter, with full days and half days off combined, all schools racked up ten snow days, with the exception of . That elementary school had 11 snow days because extra time was needed to clear ice and snow from the roofs.
