DERBY, CT — Derby police now say a 21-year-old was killed in the early morning shooting on Anson Street, according to NBC Connecticut. He died at the hospital, according to reports. The victim's identification has not yet been released.

DERBY, CT — One person was injured in a shooting on Anson Street early Friday morning, according to multiple media reports. There is no word on the victim's identity or their condition at the moment.

FOX 61 says a gun was spotted under the car on the side of the road, but it was not clear if the gun was connected to the investigation.

Anson Street is blocked off from West Fourth to Sixth Street.
