- A flood warning for Shelton has been issued since yesterday. The National Weather Service predicts the following: Rain likely, mainly before 11 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 53 degrees. South wind between 9 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

- Charlotte Wittkofski, a senior at Gettysburg College, has been placed on the Deans' Honor List for outstanding academic achievement in the Fall 2010. Students with a quality point average of 3.60 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for a semester's work are placed on the College's Deans' Honor List.
