Accomplishment: Balancing homework, friends and family while being involved in acting both in and outside school for the past four years.

Key to Awesomeness: Sandra has appeared in more than half a dozen theatrical performances, first honing her acting chops at the Alliance Children's Theater in New Haven. There, she acted in youth renditions of "Annie" and "Robin Hood." From there, Sandra went on to the Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull, an interdistrict magnet high school for Fairfield County students. During that time, she studied musical theater, acting and voice. Now, she's slowly but surely making her mark on Shelton High's stage. As a freshman, she danced along with her peers in "Footloose," part of the school's annual Adaptations production. This past January, she again was cast in her class's show, "Seussical the Musical." Now, she's busy rehearsing for the Spring musical, "Bye, Bye Birdie." You go, girl!
