Congratulations to this week's Whiz Kids, who competed on April 9.

Who: Students of martial arts studio

Age: 3 - 15 (Children's Program)

Accomplishment: Participation in the 2011 Greenwich All Tang Soo Do Tournament. Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art which teaches empty hand and foot fighting, fighting forms, self-defense, and weapons. This art is a composite style influenced by the Northern Chinese arts, the Southern Chinese arts, and the Okinawan discipline of Karate.

Key to Awesomeness: Collectively, the group won nine 1st place, seven 2nd place and nine 3rd place trophies in sparring and forms divisions. In addition, Derik Weber won Grand Champion in forms.
