Obituary: Nancy Dirgo, 51, of Ansonia

SHELTON, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Nancy Dirgo, age 51, of Ansonia, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Nancy was born in Milford on November 6, 1969 to the late John Hedman and Barbara Smith Soucy.

Nancy was a caregiver at the Kennedy Center for many years and was loved by many.

Survivors include: her former spouse John Dirgo, children: Austin Dirgo of Ansonia and Madison Dirgo of Derby, siblings; Bob Hedman, Cathy Gorniak (Andrew), Ed Hedman, Kip Hedman, Richard Hedman (Debbie), Peg Bell (Terry) and Barbie Ridgway (Tracy). Also leaving behind her boyfriend Duane Fitzmorris and several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30th from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 pm in the Funeral Home. Please follow current pandemic concerns by wearing a mask and keeping social distance.

Interment will be private.

Donations in memory of Nancy should be made to the Kennedy Center.
