Obituary: Sandra J. (Wright) Herb, 79, of Shelton

SHELTON, CT - (From Dennis & D'Arcy Funeral Home) Sandra J. (Wright) Herb, age 79, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Bishop Wicke Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Herb II.

Born in Bridgeport on October 12, 1941 she was a daughter of the late William R. and Edith E. Dempsey Wright.

She was an artist, crafter, avid reader, loved collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, cruising the Caribbean with Bob, and spending time with family and friends.

Sandra is survived and will be missed dearly by her husband Bob, her daughter Cari (Herb) Camarra, son Rob Herb and Donna Smallwood-MacLeod, and son Chris Herb. A brother Jerry Wright and sister-in-law Betsey Meyer.

Many loved grandchildren living around the country, one great-grandchild, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandson Zachary T. Herb.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sandra on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford CT 06615.

Friends may greet the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Burial at Lawn Cemetery East, Huntington will be held privately.
