Police Looking For Home Invasion Suspect
The Shelton police are looking for a six-foot tall Hispanic male. The following information comes from a police report by Detective Ben Trabka.

On Monday, Jan. 23 at approximately 12:15 p.m., residents of an apartment located on Howe Avenue near the junction of Kneen Street reported that their front door was kicked in by an Hispanic male carrying a hand gun. The suspect ordered the occupants to give him their valuables. While this was occurring, one of the male occupants was pistol whipped by the suspect. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect fled, leaving the gun behind. The occupant struck by the gun was transported to Griffin Hospital where he was treated and later released.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build mustache and beard with a tattoo on his neck. Police request anyone with information to call the at 203-924-1544. All calls will be kept confidential.
