Roger Ned Katen, 77, of Shelton: His career in banking as an estate trustee for Union Trust and later US Trust (Bank of America) was marked by diligence and a deep sense of responsibility, qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

Mary Lou Donnelly, 89, of Shelton: From decorating to baking, she was renowned for making over 20 varieties of cookies and treats for all to enjoy while passing on traditions that will carry on for generations to follow.
