Seymour Pink Donates $10,000 To Griffin Hospital

The donation will be used towards the purchase of radiosurgery equipment for Griffin's Radiation Oncology Department.

From Griffin Hospital: Seymour Pink recently made a donation of $10,000 to help enhance cancer treatment at Griffin Hospital.

The donation will be used towards the purchase of radiosurgery equipment for Griffin’s Radiation Oncology Department. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a non-surgical radiation therapy used to treat tumors, delivering precisely-targeted radiation in fewer high-dose treatments than traditional therapy, which can help preserve healthy tissue.

Seymour Pink is a non-profit charity located in Seymour, CT which aims to unite the community in the fight against breast cancer. Through fund-raising efforts, Seymour Pink’s goal is to fund breast cancer research, provide education and to empower and assist breast cancer patients and their families.
