Kathleen Edwina Shenton, 58, of Allyndale Court, is charged with third-degree assault, third-degree assault on a disabled person and disorderly conduct.
Police said the man suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
Her bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
