"Every town from Oxford to Stratford has crews out searching right now," Reynolds said. "It is unknown where exactly the victim is and we don't have an identity yet. He could have gone fishing this morning and ran into a problem, but it's not clear yet what happened."

EMS, fire, special operations and hazards units were on scene Monday afternoon to lend a hand in the search. "We have boats out and we're scanning the water for articles of clothing, personal belongings, etc." Reynolds said.

Reynolds also said that state police are deploying dive teams at Oxford's Yale Bowl House.

Updates to follow as they are made available.
