It's beginning to look a lot like Spring time, everywhere you go! (Sung to the tune of the Christmas song)

  1. And of course, it wouldn't be Spring if we didn't have a constant change from sunny skies to rainy days. Such is the season! The National Weather Service reports that today there is a chance of rain, mainly before noon. Skies will be cloudy and the temperature could reach a high of 52 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. At night, it looks like drizzles may subside, as partly cloudy skies, with a low around 35 is expected.
  2. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Governor Dannel P. Malloy issued a statement saying: "Unlike the victims of other crimes, sexual assault survivors may feel shame or embarrassment that may prevent them from seeking the help, treatment and services they need and deserve. It is incumbent upon all of us to ensure that survivors find protection and justice under the law, and that advocates have the resources they need to provide the care and support to victims and their loved ones." If you or something you know is or has been suffering from sexual assault, there are many resources available to help break the cycle and work towards recovery.
