Tuesday, April 19: Free Denistry Day, Masuk High Reunion
Today will be joyful and stress free.

- The old say "April showers bring May flowers" is quite cute and colloquial, but I'm kind of over the rain. How about you? The National Weather Service reports the following for today: Showers, mainly after 7 a.m. High near 53. North wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. At night, more showers with a low around 42 degrees.
- Paul DiMauro, Director of , announced today that the trash and recycling collection on Good Friday, April 22, will be collected on that day as usual. There will be no change in the schedule. However, the transfer station will be closed that day, but will reopen on Saturday, April 23 from 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- Happy Birthday to Shelton residents Kelly Kutash, Chris Rigoli, Aidan Zitnay and Doug Liggins (who also happens to be a fabulous Patch freelancer!). These townies share a birthday with tennis champ Maria Sharapova, actors Kate Hudson and James Franco, and blonde bombshell Jayne Mansfield.
