Occupation: Retired

Family: Son, Mike, daughter, and son-in-law, Sarah Jean and Nick.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:

Elected to the Simsbury Board of Selectmen and the Simsbury Planning Commission

Why are you seeking this office? To have a positive impact on our town to move it forward.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Manage our financial future based on a thought-out plan with respectful discussion from others

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I bring a lifetime of experiences, both in the public and private worlds, by having thoughtful conversations and listening to all sides.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Respect for others' opinions while explaining mine.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

Running and growing a recycling and rubbish removal business. Interaction with employees, fellow businesses, local, state, and federal officials to benefit the citizens and businesses that we serve. I was part of the National Waste and Recycling Association, setting fellow haulers up to be able to serve their customers.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Use your two ears and one mouth in responses to others
