Dog License Month In Simsbury, What You Need To Know

June is dog license month and Simsbury officials are reminding dog owners what they need to do to comply with the law.

SIMSBURY, CT — Local officials are reminding dog owners that June is dog licensing month, meaning now is the time to license or renew the license for your beloved furry pals.

Licensing begins June 1 for each year and dogs six months or older must be licensed before July 1 each year.

New dog licenses and renewals can be obtained through the mail at Simsbury Town Clerk's Office, 933 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury CT 06070.

They're also available in person or via the drop box outside the Simsbury Town Hall entrance.

Renewals (not new registrations) can also be done online during June only.

Licensing fees are $8 for a spayed or neutered dog and $19 for an unaltered dog.
