Simsbury Woman's Club's 43rd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival

The Simsbury Woman's Club will host its 43rd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, September 15, 2012 and Sunday, September 16, 2012.

Over 100 artists and craftsmen will exhibit on Iron Horse Boulevard in Simsbury Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, rain or shine.  Admission and parking are free.  Demonstrations, food and a bake sale are included along with a display of antique cars by Valley Collector Car Club.  Many of the exhibitors are well-known artisans from Simsbury and surrounding towns.

The Simsbury Woman's Club is a dynamic group of volunteers dedicated to creating global change on a local level and has been active in Simsbury for 44 years.  The Arts and Crafts Festival, our largest fund raiser, enables the Club to advance our goals to improve our social, cultural and physical environment and to promote appreciation of the arts.

Your support makes it possible for the Club to award 3 scholarships - 2 to seniors from Simsbury High School and one to an older woman continuing her education- and to donate to a number of local charitable organizations.  In the past 10 years we have donated over $150,000.

The Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.  We welcome new members of all ages.  For more information or to get involved, please contact Vivian Gombert at 860-658-1578 or Diana Roy at 860-379-3276.
