Hartford Symphony Orchestra Announces '17 Talcott Mountain Music Festival

Grass passes and table subscriptions on sale now; single tickets are on sale on May 8.

From HSO: The Hartford Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce its programming for the 2017 Talcott Mountain Music Festival, scheduled June 30 through July 28 at Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in Simsbury, CT.

We are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking Beatles album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with Sgt. Pepper’s 50th!, featuring Beatles tribute band, Classical Mystery Tour, and the HSO. This concert will include all the iconic Sgt. Pepper’s hits, such as “With a Little Help From My Friends,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” “She’s Leaving Home,” “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite,” “When I’m 64,” and “A Day in the Life.” Plus, hear other classic Beatles tunes from the band’s early days on through the solo years! Conducted by HSO Assistant Conductor, Adam Boyles.

FAMILY ACTIVITY TENT

Open to all ticket holders, the HSO Family Activity Tent is open from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.; families can enjoy free activities such as music-themed art projects led by HSO teaching artists, giveaways, and HSO’s popular Instrument Petting Zoo.

FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL

The HSO offers a tax-deductible donation program unique to the Talcott Mountain Music Festival that supports the charitable efforts of the HSO in the community and, through a $100 donation, gives special benefits at the Talcott Mountain Music Festival, including early entry onto the field and entry into a weekly raffle. TICKET INFORMATION

Advance ticket offers for GRASS PASSESSM and TABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS only are available now through Friday, May 5. Until May 5, these tickets are available by calling 860-987-5900 or by visiting The Bushnell Box Office, 166 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Single tickets go on sale Monday, May 8 and are available by calling or visiting the Box Office, or by visiting www.hartfordsymphony.org.

GRASS PASSES

Grass Passes may be used in any combination for any concerts in the 2017 Talcott Mountain Music Festival; attendees may bring Grass Passes straight to the gate for admission.

Adult Grass Pass: 10 adult lawn tickets are $230 (save $70 off gate prices)

Adult Half Grass Pass: 5 adult lawn tickets are $125 (save $25 off gate prices)

Child Grass Pass: 10 child (age 12 and under) lawn tickets for $50

Family Pack: 12 lawn tickets (6 adult and 6 child tickets) for $165 (save $65 off gate prices)

TABLE SEATS

Tables for eight people are located right in front of the stage.

Single Table Seats: 5-Concert Subscription for $190 (save $35 off gate prices)

Full Table: 5-Concert Table Subscription, 8 seats per table for $1,420 (save $380 off gate prices)

On Monday, May 8, 2017, advance ticket prices will increase to $250 for Adult Grass Pass and $180 for Family Pack.

Child Lawn (12 & under): $5

Single Table Seat: $40 advance ($45 if purchased at the gate)

All prices include $3.50 per adult ticket and $1.00 per child ticket fee paid to Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center. All dates, programs and artists are subject to change.

PARKING PASSES

Parking passes are available for purchase from the Hartford Symphony Box Office starting May 8, 2017. The cost is $10 per car per concert. The pass can be used for Lots C and D, which are located behind the stage and can be accessed on Iron Horse Boulevard. For more information, please call HSO Ticket Services at 860-987-5900.
