Longtime Simsbury HS Coach Announces Retirement
He was the head coach of Simsbury High School's football team for 10 years, with the 2024 season being his last.

SIMSBURY, CT — Simsbury High School recently bid adieu to the school's football coach the past decade and an athletic coach for 22 years following the announcement of his retirement.
According to the school's athletic director, SHS Football Coach Dave Masters announced earlier this year he is stepping down, making the 2024 season his last.
The SHS Trojans had a difficult past season, going 2-8, but the program has enjoyed success under Masters, reaching the 2019 state semifinals in its division after a 10-1 regular season.
