HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — Brackets for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) girls lacrosse tournaments were released Thursday, with 18 schools from Hartford and Tolland counties still dreaming of capturing a state championship.

A first-round contest in Class M is scheduled for Saturday, with the other 17 teams from the region having their opening games Tuesday.
