Relax And Have Some Coffee With A Simsbury Cop

SIMSBURY, CT — Folks looking for a less tense encounter with a Simsbury police officer can do that next week at a local coffee haunt.

The Simsbury Police Department is hosting a "Coffee with a Cop" event at "The Coffee Spot," 750 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

There, residents can enjoy some informal conversation with local law enforcers and be able to ask questions and relay concerns in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

As a special guest, the SPD will have K-9 police dog "Clifton" to meet and greet guests.
