More Simsbury Roads To Close Due To Flooding: PD: UPDATE
Police said this is a result of the Farmington River rising during the course of the day.
SIMSBURY, CT — Local police Wednesday morning report one road is closed in town following a massive overnight rainstorm that hit the area, but more closures are expected later today.
According to the Simsbury Police Department, Nod Road is closed due to flooding, with the affected area being Route 185 to the Talcott Mountain area (north of Ridgebury Road.)
The storm melted much of the snow from the weekend, adding to the flooding concerns on top of the 2-4 inches of rain.
