Several Simsbury Roads Still Closed Due To Flooding
The Simsbury Police Department Thursday issued an updated list of road closures due to the rainstorm earlier this week.

SIMSBURY, CT — The effects of Tuesday/Wednesday's massive rainstorm are still being felt in Simsbury, with several roads still closed due to flooding.
The Simsbury Police Department Thursday afternoon reported the following roads are still closed due to rising waters from local waterways:
• All of Riverside Road (Terry’s Plain Road to Drake Hill Road to East Weatogue Street).

• Tariffville Road (Route 315) from Quarry Road to the Farmington River bridge west of Terry’s Plain Road).
• Terry’s Plain Road from Route 315 to Goodrich Road.

• Nod Road from Hartford Road (Route 185) to North Ridgebury Road.
• Wilcox Street from Route 10 to Iron Horse Boulevard (due to a damaged utility pole).
