Syedjahanzeb Jahanzeb Bukhari, 41, of Cobtail Way, Simsbury, was charged with physical threatening at 10 a.m. He was to appear in court July 10.
Maxwell Robert Janes, 18, of Lovely Street, Avon, was charged with illegal sale of fireworks (no permit) at 9:29 p.m. He was to appear in court July 24.

July 18
Diego Antonio Carlos, 27, of West Point Terrace, Simsbury, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct at 4:17 p.m. He was to appear in court July 21.
July 19
Kenneth James Varza, 49, of Plank Hill Road, Simsbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer/resisting arrest at 4:12 p.m. He will appear in court Aug. 7.
Mark A. Varza, 49, of Plank Hill Road, Simsbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer/resisting arrest at 4:19 p.m. He will appear in court Aug. 7.
July 20
John Carlin, 45, of Horseshoe Circle, Simsbury, was charged with disorderly conduct and physical threatening at 8:52 p.m. He was to appear in court July 21.
Daniel James Carter, 33, of Meadowbrook Road, Granby, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and possession of a controlled substance at 5:30 p.m. He will appear in court Aug. 7.
Sarah Ruth Williams, 42, of Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, was charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, engaging police in pursuit, traffic control signal violation, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and possession of a controlled substance at 12:20 p.m. She will appear in court Aug. 7.
