Simsbury Program Shows Kids Around the Kitchen
The town's rec department is hosting 'Food Explorers' cooking classes for children starting Wednesday, Feb. 7.
SIMSBURY, CT — Before parents let their children anywhere near a stove, they might want to have them take a special class with the Simsbury Culture, Parks & Recreation Department.
That's because the town has a special children's cooking program called "Food Explorers," where future foodies can learn the tricks of the cooking hobby.
This multi-week program introduces children to all aspects of the kitchen and allows them to explore new recipes and flavors.
