Simsbury Restaurant Among Nation's 'Most Romantic'

CONNECTICUT — Two Connecticut restaurants are among the most romantic in the nation, according to a major rating compilation.

With Valentine's Day just couple of weeks away, the reservation service OpenTable Wednesday released its 2024 list of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, an elite list developed from more than 12 million diner reviews and other metrics, the site said.

In Connecticut, here are the restaurants made the cut:

• J. Gilbert's – Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood – Glastonbury, Glastonbury
• Millwright’s Restaurant, Simsbury

The full list includes restaurants in 33 states and the District of Columbia. It can be accessed here.

One thing to keep in mind. Reservations book up quickly, with about half of them booked two weeks before Valentine's Day, according to OpenTable.
