SIMSBURY, CT — Ahead of this weekend's snowstorm, the town of Simsbury has announced a street parking ban.

Though Simsbury officials didn't specify the date and time the ban would begin, in an alert on the town's website they said "parking on public roadways is prohibited any time snow operations are in progress."

Residents should also keep garbage cans and recycling bins out of the roads to ensure snowplows can clear them, the town said.
