What Type Of A Beloved Easter Candy Tastes Best? Simsbury To Find Out
The Simsbury Public Library this week is inviting local teens to devour some treats (for free) and help it answer that question.
SIMSBURY, CT — Generally speaking, libraries are places where staff will tell young people to keep quiet or, perhaps, demand that "not a peep" come from their mouths.
But the Simsbury Public Library on Thursday, April 10, is all in on peeps, namely "Peeps," those beloved colored marshmallow Easter treats that fill Easter baskets for young and old alike.
The library's "Peeps Taste Test" — slated for 3:30 p.m. — will determine what Simsbury thinks is the best-tasting color of Peep, with each variety colored with different flavors of sugar.

In addition, the Peeps will be in bunny form or, perhaps, little chick form (the traditional variety).
This unique program is for young people in grades 7-12, and free Peeps will be provided by staff at the library, which is located at 725 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.

While free, the library is asking folks to register in advance to give staff an idea of how many Peeps to buy.
