Where To See Santa In Simsbury This Holiday Season

SIMSBURY, CT — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Simsbury families.

In Simsbury, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Here are the details:

• Visits with Santa, Mrs Claus, Frosty, and the Grinch — Flamig Farm — 7 Shingle Mill Road, West Simsbury. Dates are Dec. 6,7, 13, 14, 2,0, and 21. From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The time to visit Santa is a scheduled ticket time. This is a rain, shine, or light snow all-weather event. IN the event of a major snowstorm, that day will be cancelled, and the farm will refund people scheduled for that day or get you a different date. Advance tickets only. $15 per person, with those under 1 free. Visit with Santa, Mrs Claus, and the Grinch. Trolley Ride with Frosty out to Reindeer land. Visit the outdoor petting zoo with a free cup of grain to feed the animals. There will be a food truck on site for hot drinks and refreshments.

• The Westfarms Mall in Farmington/West Hartford hosts "Santa's Flight Academy," where guests can have their pictures with Santa in a massive display in the center of the mall.
