Late Southbury Doctor To Be Honored By Roadrace

The fourth annual Run for the River 5K road race, sponsored by the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, will take place this Saturday, Oct. 31 in memory of the late Dr. Marc Taylor, according to a report by the Republican-American.

The race starts and ends at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury on South Britain Road.

Dr. Taylor was formerly a medical director at River Glen who also shared a passion for caring about the natural world, said the Republican-American.

The race starts at 9 a.m. and anyone interested can register for the event at http://www.pomperaug.org.
