The investment aims to improve air quality and overall living and working conditions for the school’s elderly and disabled residents and staff, reinforcing the state’s commitment to keeping the campus open.
   

• CT bald eagle observatory to open for 40th season: ‘See America's national bird' (courant.com) — Southbury’s Shepaug Bald Eagle Observatory opens its 40th viewing season this Sunday, Dec. 21, giving residents a free, reserved spot to see bald eagles along the Housatonic. Operated by FirstLight at 2150 River Road, the observatory will host visitors through March 15, showcasing eagles and other winter birds in a unique, close-up setting.
