Man Charged In Southbury Road Rage Attack: Police
A man is accused of breaking the window of another car and injuring the driver in a June incident, according to police.
SOUTHBURY, CT — A New Milford man has been charged in connection to a road rage attack, according to police. Glenn Tyler, 60, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace, and second-degree reckless endangerment.
The victim had cut off Tyler on June 3, according to the arrest warrant. Tyler then tailgated the victim in his Ram truck on South Britain Road.
The victim later made a U-turn and pulled over in front of Old Country Deli. Tyler then turned around and "propelled or shot an unknown projectile" that broke the car's window before continuing in the other direction on South Britain Road, according to the arrest warrant.

The victim told police he "did not remember hearing a loud pop or bang, he just remembered being startled at the window being shattered."
The victim was treated at Waterbury Hospital for cuts on his arm and hand resulting from the glass breaking.

Tyler turned himself in at State Police Troop A on Wednesday. He was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 16.
