Southbury Firefighters Rescue Motorist Trapped in Car After Crash

SOUTHBURY, CT — Crews from the Southbury Fire Department were dispatched Saturday night for a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

First responders found a single motorist unable to get out of the car, officials said.

Firefighters helped free the driver and assisted ambulance crews in loading the driver onto a stretcher. The driver was taken to a local hospital.
