Southbury Public Library Announces Additional Children's And Teen Programs For October 2025

The Southbury Public Library Youth Services department has announced two new events in late October for children.

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Southbury Public Library Youth Services department has announced two new events in late October for children. All programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.

Children’s Programs:

Mr. Matt’s Musical Storytime (Ages 3-11) – Monday, October 27, 4-5pm, Kingsley Room, Registration Required - Space Limited. This high energy program will feature engaging stories, songs, movement and a unique craft.

Read with SPG: Fall Into Language! (Ages 1-5) – Wednesday, October 29, 10-11am, Kingsley Room, Registration Encouraged But Not Required. Read with Speech Pathology Group: Fall Into Language! Featuring: The Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything. Enjoy an interactive read-along led by a Speech Language Pathologists. Using this fun seasonal book, the SLP will demonstrate how shared reading builds vocabulary, expands language, and encourages participation - all while having fun.
