The Southbury Senior Center is gearing up for its Annual Holiday Cheer drive to bring cheer to Southbury seniors during the holiday season.

The Southbury Senior Center is gearing up for its Annual Holiday Cheer drive to bring cheer to Southbury seniors during the holiday season. The Southbury Senior Services Department identifies seniors who may be isolated and/or in need of some holiday happiness. This program relies heavily upon the generous donations from the community.

Due to the popularity of our “themed” approach these past few years, we are once again creating “theme/experience” gift baskets for our seniors. We request that all donations to be delivered to the Southbury Senior Center by Wednesday, December 4, 2024 by 4:00pm..

If you or your organization would like to participate, please consider contributing in one of the following ways:

  • Donate completed basket(s), see below for theme ideas
  • Donate individual item(s) for the staff to construct baskets
  • Monetary Donations for the staff to purchase additional items/gift cards. We accept cash or checks made payable to Town of Southbury, please include Holiday Cheer in the memo line.

    • Last year, the Southbury Senior Services Department delivered 75 baskets to seniors in need. Our goal for 2024 is to collect, create and distribute 80 holiday cheer baskets. Please help us achieve this goal!
