Woman Charged With Robbery, Threatening In Southbury: Police

A woman is facing several charges in connection to a robbery with a knife at a Stop & Shop last month.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A woman has been charged in connection with an incident in October, according to police.

Morgan Leach, 29, was charged Wednesday with first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, second-degree threatening, and second-degree breach of peace.

She was arrested following a "lengthy investigation" into an Oct. 14 incident at the Stop & Shop at 100 Main St. N. Leach is accused of robbing the Stop & Shop while armed with a knife, according to WTNH News-8.

Leach was held on $150,000 bond. She was transported to York Correctional Facility in Niantic and is due in Waterbury Superior Court on Thursday.
