2 Injured in I-84 Crash in Southington
A trailer detached from a dump truck, flipped over and dumped a piece of construction equipment onto the highway.
Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning after a freak truck crash on I-84 eastbound near Exit 28 in Southington.
The victims were injured when a trailer carrying a Bobcat construction vehicle, detached from the dump truck hauling it, causing the trailer to flip over and the Bobcat to hit at least one car around 6:30 a.m., according to myrecordjournal.com.
State police are investigating.
